The final verdict, which was served to him by Judges Yang Eun Sang and Heo Jun Seo of the 11th Criminal Division of the Seoul Western District Court on April 9. The verdict also dictates that he pay an overall fine of KRW 1.00 million, which roughly amounts to USD 676.Taehyun was officially found guilty of driving under the influence of alcohol and directly breached the Road Traffic Act.

The Judges also explained the reasoning behind the 1 year prison sentence as per the report. They cited that the fact he was a repeat offender and had earlier been apprehended for driving under the influence was taken into consideration.
