‘Dhurandhar’ box office collection day 6 (LIVE)

'Dhurandhar' box office collection day 6 (LIVE): The Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, R Madhavan starrer spy actioner crosses Rs 150 crore, expected to hold steady on Wednesday

‘Dhurandhar’ has been really the talk of the town ever since the film released. The Aditya Dhar directorial, starring Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal has been all over the internet for various reasons and largely, it has got positive reviews. This has led to the film growing at the box office as well. The Sunday numbers of ‘Dhurandhar’ were better than the Day 1 numbers on Friday. The film demonstrated strong weekday stability, maintaining collections in the impressive Rs. 20 crore range on Monday, signalling excellent audience acceptance and cementing its status as a major box office hit. That’s not all, it saw a growth on Tuesday.Dhurandhar Movie Review The film had an opening of Rs 28 crore on day 1. On Saturday, it saw a growth of around 14 per cent and made Rs 32 crore. Meanwhile on Sunday, the jump was phenomenal as the film made around Rs 43 crore which was 34 percent more than the Saturday numbers. On Monday, the collection is Rs 23 crore . This was a drop of more than 50 percent when compared to the Sunday numbers but if the film manages to stay in the same range all through the week, it would be great. On Tuesday, it has started off on a decent note and has minted about Rs 26.50 crore. This is massive. Meanwhile, on Wednesday as well, it has started on a decent note and has made Rs 2.04 crore till afternoon.

Akshaye Khanna dominates Dhurandhar wave; Farah Khan’s “deserves an Oscar” remark fuels frenzy

Dhurandhar’s net collection at the domestic box office now stands at Rs 154.79 crore. With this pace, the film may be eyeing Rs 200 crore by the end of week 1. Post that milestone, the film is expected to march towards record-breaking territory. Industry chatter suggests that—just like ‘Animal’ and ‘Pushpa 2’, ‘Dhurandhar’ too could race into the Rs 500 crore club in Hindi. A lot, however, will hinge on how the film performs over its second weekend. If the hold remains close to its opening weekend business, there seems to be no ceiling for ‘Dhurandhar’.

Day wise collection of ‘Dhurandhar’:

Day 1 [1st Friday] ₹ 28 Cr Day 2 [1st Saturday] ₹ 32 Cr Day 3 [1st Sunday] ₹ 43 Cr Day 4 [1st Monday] ₹ 23.25 Cr Day 5 [1st Tuesday] ₹ 26.5 Cr Day 6 [1st Wednesday] ₹ 2.04 Cr ** Total ₹ 154.79 Cr
