As rumors swirl about ‘Dhurandhar 2’, fans are thrilled to hear that Vicky Kaushal is reviving his celebrated character, Major Vihaan Shergill from ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’. Under the visionary guidance of director Aditya Dhar, familiar themes from ‘Uri’ have been seamlessly blended into this new narrative, teasing the possibility of a vast cinematic saga.

Amidst this, a new report will level up the excitement about the film even more. Reportedly, Vicky Kaushal is set to feature in the sequel of the espionage thriller. Let’s learn more about it.

Vicky Kaushal to star in ‘Dhurandhar 2’?

According to the Mid-Day report, Vicky Kaushal’s appearance will not be random, but he will be reprising his role of Major Vihaan Shergill from Aditya Dhar’s blockbuster ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’. The report stated that the filmmaker has been tight-lipped about the “star power” in part 2. As per the report, the director has incorporated a track from ‘Uri’ in ‘Dhurandhar 2’.

Vicky Kaushal’s appearance in ‘Dhurandhar 2’ will not be random

A source close to the development told the publication, “Aditya has smartly woven in a track from ‘Uri’ despite the difference in the two stories’ timelines. Vicky’s character from the war drama, which is set in 2016, is introduced in this film, although it remains unclear whether he and Ranveer’s character cross paths. The cameo includes a few action blocks.”Well, it seems that the filmmaker doesn’t wish to make ‘Dhurandhar 2’ a standalone sequel, as he is making a base for his own cinematic universe. The inside further shared with the publication, “Vicky is one of Aditya’s favorite actors. The director was only too happy to design sequences that laid the foundation for a spin-off in the future.”As per the report, Kaushal shot his scenes for the film last year.
