Kangana Ranaut hits back at CJP’s Saurav Das after his response to her ‘Generation Gutter’ remark, calls him ‘useless’: ‘I had 2 National Awards at his age’

BJP MP and actress Kangana Ranaut has once again targeted the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP), this time responding to the outfit’s spokesperson Saurav Das after his criticism of her remarks on Gen Z protesters. In her Instagram Stories shared on Tuesday, Kangana questioned Das’ identity as a student, compared his achievements with her own career milestones, and called him “useless” while defending her journey as an actor, filmmaker, producer and politician. The exchange comes days after the CJP-led agitation over the alleged NEET-UG 2026 paper leak ended following the resignation of former Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. The protest, which continued for nearly a month, was called off after the Centre agreed to several demands raised by the group, including compensation for affected families and withdrawal of FIRs against protesters.

Kangana Ranaut questions Saurav Das’ student status

Sharing a screenshot of Saurav Das’ ANI interview on Instagram Stories, Kangana questioned his claim of being a student at the age of 28 and compared his journey with her own achievements.”Googled this person and he is 28 years old, how he claims to be a student I have no clue!! Yes I am in politics for past 2 years but I have been in public life for last 20 years,” she wrote. Talking about her career, Kangana added, “At his age I had 2 National Awards, yes as a new parliamentarian I was overwhelmed with all the work because I am also a filmmaker + performing artist + producer + screen writer + entrepreneur.”She further claimed that someone like Das would not understand the challenges of being successful and in demand.”But someone like him who is totally useless and unemployed will never understand what it means to be in massive demand and at all times at any age,” Kangana wrote.Addressing Das directly, she added, “Dear Saurav your issues are personal, you are not a student you are simply useless, let’s start with learning some skill. It’s a good place to start.”

CJP spokesperson Saurav Das responds to Kangana’s Gen Z remarks

Kangana’s reaction came after Saurav Das criticised her comments against Gen Z protesters, including her description of the younger generation as “Generation Gutter”.Speaking to ANI, Das questioned whether Kangana’s views were taken seriously among young people.”Kangana Ranaut ji ko unki party wale hi zyada nahi poochte hain, zyada seriously nahi lete hain unko, toh hum log bhi kyun seriously le?” he said.He added that he did not believe Gen Z, Gen Alpha or younger generations listened to her views seriously.Das also referred to Kangana’s earlier comments about the challenges of being an MP, saying her own statements reflected on her understanding of public responsibility.”When woh humein ‘unserious generation’ bol rahi hain, toh unki khud ki seriousness unhone khud expose kar di thi,” he said.He further added that public figures should maintain dignity in their language.”Shabdon ka istemaal sahi hona chahiye, apni language sambhalni chahiye aur apne pad ki garima banaye rakhni chahiye,” Das said.Defending Gen Z, he added, “Aapse kahin zyada Gen Z ne is desh ke liye kiya hai aur kar rahe hain. Is desh ke democracy mein bharosa phir se jagane ka kaam Gen Z ne kiya hai, aapne nahi kiya hai.”

Kangana has earlier criticised CJP protests

This is not the first time Kangana has spoken against the CJP movement. Earlier, the actor-politician had questioned the protesters’ methods and criticised young demonstrators involved in the campaign. Her remarks had triggered a response from CJP members, who defended the protesters and criticised Kangana’s comments on Gen Z.Kangana had also backed the Centre’s response to the NEET-UG controversy following Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation. She praised the government’s education reforms and the formation of a committee aimed at strengthening the examination system. Go to Source
