In 2025, when ‘Dhurandhar 2’ was announced right after the release of its prequel, the expectations were already high. In 2026, when finally the Ranveer Singh starrer ‘Dhurarndhar 2: The Revenge’ made it to the theatres, it lived up to those expectations. The movie had a massive opening weekend, followed by impressive box office numbers in the first week and second week. Later, it became the first ever film to earn over Rs 1000 crore in Hindi, setting a new record. Now, after 39 days of a theatrical run, the movie still isn’t ready to let go. According to Sacnilk, the Aditya Dhar-directed ‘Dhurandhar’ added Rs 3.40 crore to the tally on day 39, i.e. its 6th Sunday. The numbers come from across 2988 shows and represent a growth of around 13 per cent from Saturday’s performance, which stood at Rs 3 crore. This brings the 6th weekend collection to Rs 6.40 crore, pushing the India net collection to Rs 1,130.59 crore. Meanwhile, the gross domestic collection has reached Rs 1,353.27 crore so far.The overseas business saw an addition of Rs 0.50 crore, bringing the total to Rs 424.25 crore. With this, the gross worldwide collection of ‘Dhurandhar 2’ stood at Rs 1,777 crore on day 39.
