‘Dhurandhar 2’ BO day 72 [LIVE]: Will it net Rs 1150 crore mark before OTT debut?

'Dhurandhar 2' box office collection Day 72 [LIVE]: Ranveer Singh film inches closer to Rs 1,150 crore milestone ahead of OTT release

Aditya Dhar’s blockbuster espionage thriller ‘Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge’, starring Ranveer Singh, continues to hold firm at the box office on Day 72 of its theatrical run, edging close to the Rs. 1,150 crore net domestic milestone. With its India net collection now standing at Rs. 1148.22 crore and live Day 72 figures trickling in, the Ranveer Singh-led actioner remains one of the most talked-about box office stories of 2026. However, the theatrical window is rapidly narrowing, with the film’s JioHotstar OTT premiere locked for June 4, 2026, making every show count in its final days on the big screen. With Rs. 1.78 crore still needed to breach the Rs. 1150 crore mark and the OTT premiere, the film has a narrow but realistic window to claim the milestone. However, breaching the ‘Pushpa: The Rule — Part 2’s all-time domestic record of Rs. 1234.10 crore, however, remains elusive as the gap of over Rs. 85 crore is simply too large to bridge in the time remaining.Off-screen, the FWICE non-cooperation ban against Ranveer Singh, stemming from the ‘Don 3’ controversy continues to simmer, casting a shadow over what has otherwise been the defining commercial chapter of his career.

‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ Week 1-10 earnings

‘Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge’ opened on March 19, 2026, banking Rs. 674.17 crore in its debut week alone. Week 3 brought in Rs. 110.60 crore and saw the film crossing the Rs. 1000 crore net domestic, becoming the first Hindi film ever to do so, closing the three-week total at Rs. 1048.42 crore. Week 4 held impressively at Rs. 54.70 crore despite fresh competition from Akshay Kumar’s ‘Bhooth Bangla’, followed by Week 5’s Rs. 19.52 crore which pushed the tally past Rs. 1100 crore. The tail end of its theatrical run saw steady but modest contributions like Rs. 12.45 crore in Week 6, Rs. 5.58 crore in Week 7, Rs. 3.89 crore in Week 8, Rs. 2.19 crore in Week 9, and Rs. 1.45 crore in Week 10.
