BTS considering DISBANDING? Leader RM's live-stream sparks concern among BTS ARMY

BTS leader RM revealed the group considered disbandment during their hiatus, citing member love and fan respect as reasons for continuing. He also shared personal struggles with sleep due to immense pressure preparing for new music, leaving fans surprised and discussing the group’s future.

BTS, as a group, is finally working together on an album after a hiatus of almost 3 years. Many fans had wondered what the future would hold for them, as there had been no confirmation of whether they would return after everyone completed their mandatory military enlistment. In a recent live stream, the leader of the group RM openly talked about the group’s plans and even shared how disbandment was something that the members had considered, leaving the ARMY fandom shocked.

RM talks about BTS’s disbandment

On December 6, the idol held a live stream on a popular video streaming platform. In a bout to connect with fans more, the rapper talked about his daily life, his fellow members, as well as what they went through in the past. One of his comments during the live stream, however, managed to catch the attention of ARMY.“I’ve wondered thousands of times, ‘Would it be better for the team to disband or go on hiatus?’ But the reason we’re still together is because of the love between the members and the respect we have for our fans,” he commented during the live stream, which ended up shocking fans worldwide.

He shared that there had been a lot of things and circumstances that he could not share openly about that stopped certain plans. He also further explained that the group had wanted to provide fans with something that they can appreciate, and wanted to give their all in, which is why the group has been taking so long to release new content and music. He made another shocking revelation about his personal life and shared that, “I want to perform right away, but preparing for it requires so much, and the personal pressure is huge. Since last month, I haven’t even been able to sleep. I was thinking about whether I should get a prescription for sleeping pills.”

Fan reactions to the comment

Fans of the boy group had strong reactions to RM’s comment about considering disbandment in the past. One person’s comment read, “They’ve been on hiatus for several years now. To talk about disbanding so casually like this is so disrespectful to the fans who waited for them,” while another shared that, “Honestly admitting that they’ve reached the end and knowing when to leave while the applause is still going, would be a great act of courage. Who is really afraid of BTS disbanding? Is it the fans? Or is it BTS themselves?” Go to Source
