'Bhooth Bangla' box office collection day 19: Akshay Kumar's film crosses Rs 230 cr mark globally amid 'Raja Shivaji' haul

Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan’s much-awaited collaboration, ‘Bhooth Bangla’, has been keeping the cash registers ringing at the box office. The horror-comedy starring Wamiqa Gabbi, late Asrani, Paresh Rawal, and several other ace artists, has completed 19 days since its release. Despite facing competition from the recently released Riteish Deshmukh’s ‘Raja Shivaji’ and Anne Hathaway’s ‘Devil Wears Prada 2,’ the Bollywood release saw a significant rise on Tuesday, pushing the gross worldwide collection over the Rs 230 crore mark.

‘Bhooth Bangla’ box office collection day 19

The supernatural drama with the right punch of comedy made Rs 2.25 crore on Tuesday (day 19) across 4,397 shows, according to Sacnilk. This represents a 28.6% growth from its Monday collection, where it earned Rs 1.75 crore.

With this, India’s net collection stands at Rs 146.50 crore so far, while the gross earnings in the domestic market stand at Rs 173.88 crore.Meanwhile, the overseas business saw Rs 0.50 crore collection on day 19, taking its total to Rs 57.15 crore. With these numbers, the worldwide gross collection of the Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Bhooth Bangla’ stands at Rs 231.03 crore.
