In the clip, two fans are seen running after her twice, first at the airport entrance, and then again in front of the media, asking for autographs. Priyanka obliges both times.The repeated appearance of the same fans sparked speculation that the moment was staged by her PR team to create buzz. Many social media users called it a “fake PR move” and criticised the unnecessary media drama.

Hollywood actor Bella Thorne noticed the posts discussing the incident. She commented to defend the ‘Bajirao Mastani’, saying, “No, I don’t think this is a PR stunt. They just follow you everywhere when you’re in the terminal they also sell those pages online.”Thorne explained further, “That’s why it’s on a blank piece of paper. They can actually take your signature and Photoshop over whatever they want and it would look like you have signed it. Either way I highly doubt she staged it. She’s just being nice and signing it again cuz they won’t leave her alone and are continuing to follow her through the terminal.”

Priyanka Chopra’s return to Indian cinema

After starring in films like ‘Mary Kom’, ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’, ‘Bajirao Mastani’, ‘Barfi!’, ‘Kaminey’ and more the ‘Desi Girl’ is returning to Indian cinema with SS Rajamouli’s film ‘Varanasi’. The film also stars Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran. Chopra plays Mandakini, Mahesh Babu is Rudhra, and Prithviraj is Kumbha. The film will be released in theatres for Sankranthi 2027.Apart from this, she will also appear in ‘The Bluff’, playing a 19th-century Caribbean pirate. She is working on the second season of the web series ‘Citadel’ and was recently seen in ‘Heads of State’ alongside Idris Elba and John Cena.
