'Bandar' box office collection Day 3: Bobby Deol starrer crosses Rs 2 crore mark despite positive word of mouth

Bobby Deol’s ‘Bandar’ has been receiving rave reviews from those who have watched in theatres. However, the film has been failing to pull the audience to cinemas. However, the makers never aimed for an opening weekend spectacle and want it to grow through word of mouth. A few critics went on to call Bobby’s performance in the crime drama his “career best”.

‘Bandar’ box office collection Day 3

The Anurag Kashyap directorial managed to mint Rs 0.50 crore (50 lakh) on its opening day at the box office. On the second day at the theatres, the movie collected Rs 0.95 crore. Now, according to the Sacnilk report, the movie showcased a growth of 5.3% compared to its previous day’s box office score. It earned Rs 1 crore across 1,076 shows on Day 3.With that, the total India net collection is now Rs 2.45 crore, while the total India gross earnings are Rs 2.94 crore.

Box office competition

At the box office, the Bobby Deol starrer clashed with the David Dhawan directorial ‘Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’ and the Buchi Babu Sana-helmed film, ‘Peddi’. The crime drama is also sharing screens with ‘He-Man and the Masters of the Universe’.
