Telugu horror comedy ‘Bakasura Restaurant’ was released in theatres a month ago on August 8. Although the film could not make an impact in theatres, it has been released online on multiple OTT platforms. Find out where to watch the film.’Bakasura Restaurant’ is currently streaming on two OTT platforms. The film is streaming on Prime Video and it’s also set to stream this weekend on SUN NXT.The OTT platform sharing the release details on social media wrote, “Five young souls. One dark force. The nightmare begins on 12th September. Watch It On SunNXT..!!” They shared a tagline in the poster, “Your unlimited buffet of comedy, chaos and ghosts”.

At the box office, the movie had a modest outing, only collecting a little over Rs 76 lakhs worldwide.

Plot of the film

The film directed by SJ Shiva, is about the story of a group of friends who have an ambition to launch their dream restaurant but lack funds. Along with his friends, he starts filming a vlog in a haunted location to make some bucks, where they stumble upon a tantric book and unwittingly awaken a gluttonous ghost named BakasuraUnfortunately for them, after setting up the eatery, they soon realize the place is haunted by dark spirits. On the other hand, fortunately for the viewers, the movie is filled with some spooky encounters, humorous exchanges, and frantic attempts to save both their business and themselves.The film features Praveen, Harsha Chemudu, and Jai Krishna in lead roles. The film is an amusingly unconventional script and also includes comical instances keeping the audience entertained.Vikas Badisa composed the music and Marthand K. Venkatesh handled editing of the film.
