Donna Kelce, mother of the groom, has shared her first public reaction about her son, Travis Kelce’s wedding to pop superstar Taylor Swift.The Kansas City Chiefs tight end and the Grammy-winning singer tied the knot in a private ceremony at New York’s Madison Square Garden. The nuptials and the reception were held at the arena, with an estimated 1,000 guests in attendance.

Now, a day after the celebrations, Donna, when asked about the wedding during an interview posted on Macy’s official Instagram account on Sunday, held back on the details, but did drop a breadcrumb for fans. She said, “I really can’t say a heck of a lot except it was magical, man, magical.”Donna was also asked about her favourite Fourth of July memories. She recalled the family celebrations with her sons, Travis and Jason Kelce. She said, “I remember I used to take the boys down to Lake Erie and we would watch the fireworks in Euclid, Ohio, and we had the best time.”

Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid, who was also at the wedding, dropped hints about his player’s post-wedding plans. When asked if Travis and Taylor are on their honeymoon, he shared that fans shouldn’t worry about the Chiefs’ All-Pro tight end disappearing for a while. He also shared that he isn’t worried about his Tight End star returning to the field in great shape for the training camp scheduled to begin at the end of July.

Meanwhile, giving fans a peek into the celebrations, author and podcast host Glennon Doyle also shared her impressions of the wedding. She gushed on social media, “It was somehow so big yet so… small. Intentional, real. So much joy.” Doyle went on to add, “And I can say without hyperbole that I’ve never witnessed a happier bride or groom.”The comments come after days of intense buzz surrounding Swift and Kelce’s wedding celebrations.
