Anya Singh on Shah Rukh Khan: “ He made me miss my father”

Anya Singh, recognized for her role in Aryan Khan’s web series, shares her profound takeaway from observing Shah Rukh Khan. Beyond his superstar persona, she was deeply moved by his role as a father, especially after losing her own. Anya also admired Shah Rukh’s ability to make everyone feel valued, regardless of their background or status.

Anya Singh, who plays the role of celebrity manager Sanya in Aryan Khan’s debut web series The Ba***ds of Bollywood. Her role has been greatly appreciated by the audience, special edits are being made of her dialogues by netizens and are getting shared on social media. She recently opened up about her biggest takeaway from working and observing Shah Rukh Khan. While many speak of the superstar’s charisma and towering presence, for Anya, it was something deeply personal that left a lasting impression.In an exclusive interview with Etimes, when asked what is the one thing she would like to imbibe from Shah Rukh Khan, Anya shared that beyond the superstar, she was moved by his role as a father. Of course there is Shahrukh sir the superstar, the person that you hope to imbibe a lot from but the father you know just for me to observe him with his children and I said this recently I lost my father a few years ago and he he made me miss him just to watch his bond with his children.It really made me miss my father because he’s so so good with his children,” Anya expressed candidly. Another quality that Anya spoke about Shah Rukh Khan was the way in which he would be attentive and responsive to the person in front of him. She said, “ He makes you feel valuable as a human being and no matter who you are or where you are present he really gives you that form of importance and value.” Anya had made her big screen debut with Aditya Chopra’s Qaidi Band which marked the debut of Ranbir Kapoor’s cousin Aadar Jain, she also had a scene with Ranbir in Aryan’s show. Since then she has been part of projects like Never Kiss You Best Friend, Jee Karda, KHo Gaye Hum Kaha and Stree 2.
