Veteran actor Anupam Kher recently met filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma in Mumbai, describing their engaging conversation as “master of cinema conversations.” Varma, in turn, shared “wonderful things” about Kher, highlighting his deep knowledge of world cinema. The duo, who previously collaborated on ‘Sarkar,’ expressed mutual admiration and a hope for future projects.

He described it as a memorable and engaging interaction. “We chatted for almost an hour and a half… it felt like time just flew by,” he wrote. He also added that conversations with Varma are “never ordinary—they are layered, unpredictable and always fascinating.” Kher expressed how much he enjoys such discussions, especially with someone deeply connected to cinema.

During their meeting, Ram Gopal Varma also had kind words for Anupam Kher. He also mentioned how Varma narrated interesting scripts and ideas during their chat. Kher described him as someone who “breathes films” and has deep knowledge of world cinema, making the interaction even more special.
