Aneet Padda reveals Alia Bhatt gushed over 'Saiyaara' for 10 minutes

Aneet Padda has been the quintessential girl in the conversations, after the dazzling performance alongside Ahaan Panday in their hit film ‘Saiyaara.’ Flipping the entire box office around, the duo caught lightning in a bottle with the romantic drama, dominating the industry. While fans expressed their love on social media, one of the gracious artists, Alia Bhatt, couldn’t help but gush over the 22-year-old actress as well.

Aneet Padda recalls Alia Bhatt gushing for ‘Saiyaara’

Padda recalled a fangirl moment with her idol, Alia Bhatt, when the renowned actress praised the former’s performance in the recent hit. While the ‘Gully Boy’ star praised ‘Saiyaara’ on social media, Aneet, during her Cosmopolitan interview, revealed that Alia gushed about the film for 10 minutes on a call. Narrating why the parasocial relationship was so important for her, Padda revealed how she used to practice Bhatt’s monologues. Aneet said, “I would talk to myself in the bathroom mirror (when I was young) and practise all of Bhatt’s monologues, thinking, ‘How can I do it?’ and then, ‘How can I do it my way?’”

Aneet Padda’s way to acting

Elsewhere in the interview, Padda mentioned how she used to practice acting with her friends. For someone who achieved new heights in cinema, she was initially underconfident due to a lack of support from her friends and especially her father. Overcoming the obstacles, the 22-year-old finally decided to act and hired friends to practice lines with her. However, she gently let them go because the ‘chemistry was a bit off,’ and she later realised that she had the best compatibility with – herself. As she began researching on search engines, Padda found some shady websites, “scams, basically,” along the way. After a coffee advertisement and strong encouragement from her grandmother, the ‘Salaam Venky’ actress figured out a successful way, leading to Mohit Suri’s romantic film. Go to Source
