Alia Bhatt hosts first Christmas celebration at her new home with Neetu Kapoor and close friends

Alia Bhatt welcomed Christmas in an intimate and heartfelt way this year. The actor hosted a cosy gathering at her new home, marking her first Christmas celebration at the iconic Krishna Raj Bungalow. The evening focused on family, comfort, and togetherness rather than glamour. Pictures from the celebration quickly surfaced online, offering a rare glimpse into a quiet festive moment from Alia and Ranbir Kapoor’s new chapter.

A warm Christmas evening with family and friends

The celebration brought together Alia’s inner circle. Her mother Soni Razdan, sister Shaheen Bhatt, and close friends, including Akansha Ranjan Kapoor, were part of the evening. In one of the pictures shared by Alekha Jain, Alia posed alongside her mother-in-law, Neetu Kapoor, making the gathering even more special.

Shaheen Bhatt also shared glimpses from the night, captioning her post, “’Tis the season, etc, etc.” Alia kept it simple yet stylish in a little black dress, while Shaheen stood out in a hot pink outfit. Soni Razdan also opted for black, complementing the understated festive vibe.

Krishna Raj Bungalow is more than just a new address—it carries decades of legacy. The property originally belonged to Raj Kapoor and Krishna Raj Kapoor and was later passed on to Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor in the 1980s. Now, Alia and Ranbir are set to take that legacy forward.The six-storey mansion has been under construction for several years. Alia and Ranbir, along with their daughter Raha, were often spotted visiting the site during its development, with Neetu Kapoor frequently seen supervising the progress. Reports suggest the family may move in soon, possibly choosing an auspicious date for their official housewarming.

Alia Bhatt was last seen in Jigra, directed by Vasan Bala, alongside Vedang Raina. She will next appear in the spy-universe project Alpha, co-starring Sharvari.Ranbir Kapoor, meanwhile, is currently gearing up for Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana: Part One, slated for a Diwali 2026 release.
