‘Gatta Kusthi 2’ OTT release: When and where to watch Vishnu Vishal and Aishwarya Lekshmi sports comedy

Vishnu Vishal and Aishwarya Lekshmi’s ‘Gatta Kusthi 2’ has completed the first phase of its theatrical journey and is now gearing up for its OTT release.The sports-comedy sequel arrived in cinemas on July 3, 2026 and is doing a good box office business.

OTT release details of ‘Gatta Kusthi 2’

Netflix officially announced earlier that it had acquired the post-theatrical streaming rights for the film. Once its theatrical run concludes, ‘Gatta Kusthi 2’ will begin streaming on the platform. The film will be available in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada. An official date is yet to unveil an official date.

Film records positive weekend collections

According to trade estimates by Sacnilk, the film collected an estimated Rs 6.20 crore (India net) on Day 3. This shows a 25.3% increase compared to the Rs 4.95 crore earned on the previous day.The third day’s collections came from nearly 2,400 shows across India. The film’s cumulative India net collection has climbed to Rs 13.85 crore, while its India gross collection stands at Rs 15.93 crore.

Veera and Keerthi face a new challenge

The sequel continues the journey of Veera played by Vishnu Vishal and Keerthi portrayed by Aishwarya Lekshmi. It follows the events of the original film. Veera encourages Keerthi to achieve her dream of becoming a national wrestling champion. Keerthi focuses on her training and carries out her duties as a government employee, while Veera manages their home.However, a twist in the story happens when a wrestling coach wants Keerthi’s successful career.The couple’s marriage comes under strain and this eventually leads to their separation. Veera soon finds himself accused of being responsible for Keerthi’s setbacks.With an interesting plot, just like the first part, ‘Gatta Kusthi 2’ is also getting good reviews from viewers.
