Aamir’s response to Junaid’s female fan at event goes viral

'Wo mujhe reply nahi karta': Aamir Khan's hilarious response to Junaid Khan's female fan at 'Ek Din' event goes viral

Aamir Khan’s production ‘Ek Din’ hit theatres on May 1, 2026, and the release was made even more special when both Aamir Khan and his son Junaid Khan showed up to meet fans at a screening — resulting in emotional moments, standing ovations, and one very funny comment from Aamir that left the entire audience in splits.

Aamir Khan expresses gratitude to the audience

Following the screening, Aamir Khan and Junaid Khan interacted with moviegoers, taking pictures and engaging warmly with the crowd. A visibly moved superstar thanked the audience for their presence and response. He said, “Thank you so much, guys. I really appreciate ki aaplog aaye, film dekhi, aaplog ko pasand aayi. Hamlog ki jo mehnat hai wo aaplog ko pasand aayi. It really means a lot (I really appreciate that all of you came, watched the film, and liked it. Our hard work being appreciated by you means a lot. It really means a lot).”The audience responded with applause, with one viewer standing up to share his experience directly with Junaid.”It was a fantastic movie, Junaid; lovely acting, and the entire cast was great,” said one of the audience members, who added it was the first film he watched with his son.

Junaid Khan’s dedicated fan travels from Kolkata

A particularly touching moment unfolded when a female fan walked up to Junaid and revealed she had travelled all the way from Kolkata just to watch ‘Ek Din’. She told him she had attended all his plays and asked if he remembered her. Junaid replied, “Yes, you come to my play,” leaving the crowd impressed. The fan then added that she keeps messaging him but never gets a reply, and here is where Aamir stepped in with perfect comic timing. The superstar said, “Wo mujhe reply nahi karta, aapko kya karega (He doesn’t reply to me; why would he reply to you)?”His words left everyone in splits.
