Rumours of ‘Aadu 3’ postponement due to the Middle East war have been officially quashed. The makers confirmed the highly anticipated comedy flick, marking Jayasurya’s comeback, will release as planned on March 19, 2026. The film, celebrated for its friendship and laughter, aims to unite audiences during challenging times.

Rumours about the postponement of ‘Aadu 3’ recently spread widely on social media and the speculations claimed that the film’s release might be delayed due to the ongoing Middle East war.However, the makers have now addressed the rumours directly as they confirmed that the film will release as planned. The highly anticipated comedy flick marks the comeback of Jayasurya after a long gap and with Midhun Manuel Thomas at the helm, the expectations are high.

Official statement confirms release date

The official note read, “Aadu 3: One Last Ride, Part – 1 has been crafted with immense love, laughter, and a deep sense of gratitude for the audience who embraced the Aadu franchise and transformed it into a cult classic it is today.” They further stated, “Over the past few days, we have been closely monitoring global developments. We know many of you have reached out with concerns regarding a potential postponement of our release.”

Film to hit theatres on March 19

After reviewing multiple factors the makers decided to move forward with the original release plan. The film will arrive in theatres worldwide on March 19, 2026.The note added, “After careful consideration of various factors—including the vital need for our industry to thrive during these challenging times—we are glad to confirm that Aadu 3: One Last Ride, Part – 1 will release in theatres worldwide on March 19, 2026.” They shared, “The journey of bringing this film to life has not been without challenges. Through it all, the passion of our team and the constant support of our audience kept us moving forward.”The note further said, “In times like these, we believe storytelling has the power to bring people together. The Aadu franchise has always celebrated friendship, joy, chaos, and the healing power of laughter.”The statement added, “We stand for peace, love, and happiness, and hope stories continue to unite us all.” The official note ended with the message, “We extend our sincere thanks to the media fraternity for their continued support. We look forward to welcoming you and your loved ones back to cinemas to experience this ride on a brand-new canvas with a fresh take on the genre. SEE YOU IN CINEMAS ON MARCH 19.”

Star-studded cast returns

Apart from Jayasurya, the film features several familiar faces from the franchise. The ensemble cast includes Vinayakan, Vijay Babu, Saiju Kurup, Sunny Wayne, Dharmajan Bolgatty, Indrans, and Aju Varghese among others.With the confirmation, ‘Aadu 3’ will now head into a direct box office clash with the Bollywood film ‘Dhurandhar 2’ which is also releasing on the same day.
