95-year-old Swiftie wants to play BINGO with Taylor Swift

95-year-old Swiftie wants to play BINGO with Taylor Swift; runs a 100-member fanclub

Taylor Swift, who is known to have a massive fanbase, ‘Swifties,’ has experienced love from the corners of the world. Not only does she have youth screaming the lyrics at the top of their lungs, but she also has an elderly fanbase who connect to her verses.

Here’s the story of how 95-year-old became a Swiftie

Frank Uryasz Jr., the 95-year-old, proclaims himself as one of the Swifties, especially after he listened to ‘Timeless’ – which became his favorite. ‘Timeless’ revolves around the deep meaning of love that transcends time, and it reminds Uryasz of his seven-decade-old love story with his wife, who passed away in June 2019. While his occupational therapist introduced her music during his session, he started getting to know her by watching her at the Kansas City Chiefs games. Now, the 95-year-old runs his fan club of 100 members in the retirement community, according to The Washington Post. Uryasz has his walker in Orange, the colour referencing her latest album ‘The Life of a Showgirl,’ and has a colourful license plate that reads “TAYLOR SW1FT.” The residents of the retirement community listen to the 35-year-old singer when they play volleyball, wear ‘I (heart) Swift’ pins over their hearts, and dance to ‘Shake It Off’ during physical therapy. Moreover, the 95-year-old began reading every newspaper to find an article about the renowned singer, and cut it off to paste it on the pinboard.

A letter to the engaged couple

“I just enjoy listening to her and watching her dance and sing,” he said about her song ‘Never Grow Up,’ adding, “And it’s something you can sit and watch and enjoy and wish you were young again.” Even the non-members of the retirement community joined the club, and he now wishes to play BINGO with Taylor Swift. Furthermore, he even wrote a letter to the newly engaged couple, Swift and Travis Kelce. “From one love story to another, I wanted to send you both my warmest congratulations,” Uryasz wrote, before adding, “My name is Frank, and I just turned 95 years old here in Omaha, Nebraska.” Go to Source
