Global music sensation Taylor Swift has pledged her allegiance to Team USA ahead of the 2026 Winter Olympic Games. In a touching video tribute, she highlighted the perseverance and commitment of the athletes, describing their journeys as powerfully motivating.

For the 2026 Winter Olympics, Team USA has global pop icon Taylor Swift as its biggest cheerleader! The 36-year-old singer shared a surprising video message sending the athletes well-wishes before the Games officially kick off in Milan and Cortina. In her message, Taylor cheered the US athletes and thanked them for their “determination and hard work.”

Taylor Swift’s motivating message to Team USA

Recently, the Olympics’ social media account shared a clip of the ‘Fate of Ophelia’ singer. In the video, the singer says, “Hi, it’s Taylor, I just wanted to send a message to all the athletes that are competing in the Olympics. I just wanted to say thank you.” The singer continued, “Getting to learn your stories and see everything that you’ve sacrificed and all your determination and hard work and passion and everything to that’s gotten you to this point where you’re so excellent at something, it’s just really inspiring, and I am very grateful for everything you’ve done to get to this point in your life and grateful that you’ve brought us all along with you on this journey so we get to watch you do this.” She ended her address by wishing all of the athletes luck. “I just hope that you have a wonderful Olympic Games,” she said. “Wishing you all the best of luck and a safe journey, and I hope this is an experience that you will cherish for the rest of your life. Bye!”Taylor was wearing a sweatshirt from Polo Ralph Lauren’s official Team USA collection for this year’s Olympics.

Taylor Swift drops music video for ‘Opalite’

Meanwhile, Taylor’s message came the same day she released the music video for her latest single ‘Opalite’ off of her 2025 album The Life of a Showgirl, which costarred Domhnall Gleeson, Jodie-Turner Smith, Greta Lee, Lewis Capaldi, Cillian Murphy, and Graham Norton, all of whom she appeared alongside on The Graham Norton Show back in October.
