Gujarat: 6 killed as ropeway trolley crashes at Pavagadh Hill temple

Six people died after a cargo trolley of the Pavagadh Hill temple ropeway in Gujarat’s Panchmahal district fell when its cable snapped, police said.

Six people were killed in Gujarat’s Panchmahal district after a trolley carrying construction material for the Pavagadh Hill temple ropeway crashed, police said.

The accident happened when a cable wire of the cargo ropeway snapped, causing the trolley to fall.

Panchmahal DSP Harsh Dudhaat told ANI, “Six people died after a trolley carrying construction material for the ropeway in Pavagadh broke down.”
