Hours after Conservative US leader Charlie Kirk died on Wednesday after being shot at an event in Utah, his last week’s remarks resurfaced on the internet in which he said that America does not need more visas for Indians, adding that the States was “full” and it was time to put “our own people first”.
The Trump ally made his entry into the ‘America First’ debate with his remark on legal immigrants, especially from India.

Charlie Kirk Shot Dead
Kirk, also the executive director of the conservative Turning Point USA advocacy group, was shot in the neck while he was speaking at an outdoor event at Utah Valley University. Several videos of the incident surfaced on social media, showing Kirk moving his hand toward his neck as he fell off the chair. Though he was rushed to a hospital, doctors pronounced him dead.
US President Donald Trump announced Charlie Kirk’s death in a post on Truth Social. “The Great, and even Legendary, Charlie Kirk, is dead. No one understood or had the Heart of the Youth in the United States of America better than Charlie. He was loved and admired by ALL, especially me, and now, he is no longer with us. Melania and my Sympathies go out to his beautiful wife Erika, and family. Charlie, we love you!” Trump said.
Later, in a fresh statement, Trump blamed the “radical left” for the killing of his ally Charlie Kirk.
The attack comes amid rising political violence across the United States, spanning both left- and right-wing movements.
