As many as three people have been killed and more than 70 injured after a gas tanker exploded along a major Mexico City highway, said Mexico City’s mayor, Clara Brugara, on Wednesday.

He referred to the incident as an “emergency” that burned 18 vehicles and left 19 of those injured in grave condition. The mayor also informed that a probe into the matter is underway, also adding that it seems like the explosion took place after the truck tipped over on the highway.
A disturbing clip of the video has also gone viral online. It shows a victim severely injured, standing with support, with her clothes torn and damaged following the accident.
