In a shocking incident, a man killed his wife and her lover in Tamil Nadu’s Kallakurichi district on Tuesday night after suspecting their affair.
The man identified as Kolanji, a woodcutter, suspected his wife Lakshmi, was having an affair with Thangarasu.

According to India Today, the man, after pretending to be away from home, returned and found his wife and her lover together on the terrace. He then attacked them with a sickle, killed them, and severed their heads.
Murdering them, Kolanji tied their heads to his two-wheeler and rode to Vellore Central Jail, where he surrendered. Vanjaram police recovered the headless bodies from the house and arrested him.
Meanwhile, the couple’s three daughters have been send to their relatives as Kolanji was arrested and remains in judicial custody.
In a similar incident, a man in June was arrested near Bengaluru for allegedly killing his wife and surrendering at Suryanagar Police Station with her severed head. The accused, who married his wife against family wishes, later found that his wife was having an affair with another man. He attacked them and later beheaded his wife.
After the killing, Shankar rode his bike to the police station carrying the head and surrendered.
