Purification Rituals At Guruvayur Temple After Vlogger Jasmin Jaffar Films Reel In Sacred Pond

A non-Hindu woman vlogger entered a pond of Guruvayur Sree Krishna Temple in Kerala and shot reels some days ago, prompting the temple authorities to cleanse the premises.

Vlogger Jasmin Jaffer vlog: Kerala temple cleansed

Purification rituals were performed at the Guruvayur Sree Krishna Temple in Kerala on Tuesday after a non-Hindu woman vlogger allegedly entered the temple pond and shot a reel.

The sanctum sanctorum of the temple will open for the devotees to offer prayers only after 5 pm today, officials said.

Guruvayur Sree Krishna Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Guruvayurappan located in the small town of Guruvayur in Kerala.

A former Bigg Boss reality show contestant and social media influencer, Jasmin Jaffer, shot a reel washing her feet at the pond, which according to the authorities, has violated the temple rituals. Non-Hindus are not allowed to enter the temple.

Jasmin Jasffer had made a reel from the temple 6 days ago.
