How to Claim Kerala Lottery Prize Money?

Winners must first confirm their ticket numbers with the official results published in the Kerala Government Gazette. Once verified, prizes can be claimed in person at the Kerala Lottery Office, Gorky Bhavan, near Bakery Junction, Thiruvananthapuram.

For a successful claim, the following documents are mandatory:

  1. The original winning ticket, self-attested on both sides
  2. A passport-size photograph, attested by a Gazetted Officer
  3. A self-attested copy of the PAN card (for tax compliance)
  4. Valid ID and address proof such as Aadhaar, Voter ID, Ration Card or PAN card
  5. A duly filled prize claim form (downloadable online), affixed with a revenue stamp and submitted as per guidelines

All claims must be filed within 30 days from the draw date, failing which the prize will be forfeited.

What to Do After Winning Kerala Lottery? Full Claim Process

To claim their prize, winners are required to present the original winning ticket within 30 days of the draw date. Claims submitted after this period will not be accepted and the prize amount will be forfeited. The ticket, along with all supporting documents, must be submitted to the respective authority as per the prize amount, detailed below:

  • Prizes up to Rs 5,000: Can be claimed through authorised lottery agents
  • Prizes up to Rs 1 lakh (within Kerala): To be submitted at the respective District Lottery Office
  • Prizes up to Rs 1 lakh (outside Kerala): Must be submitted to the Directorate of State Lotteries
  • Prizes above Rs 1 lakh: Should be submitted directly to the Director of State Lotteries
  • Prizes between Rs 1 lakh and Rs 20 lakh: Claims should be addressed to the Deputy Director
  • Prizes over Rs 20 lakh: Must be submitted to the Director of State Lotteries
