Toyota’s portfolio, which spans the SUV and MPV segments, helped sustain its domestic momentum.Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TMK) on Wednesday reported a 19 per cent rise in domestic vehicle sales to 3,67,107 units in FY26, up from 3,09,508 units in FY25, reflecting sustained demand across key segments such as SUVs, MPVs, and compact cars.
Overall sales, including exports, stood at 4,06,081 units, up 20 per cent year-on-year.
Monthly performance also remained strong, with domestic sales in March 2026 growing 24 per cent year-on-year to 35,125 units, compared to 28,373 units in the same month last year.
“The introduction of new products and customer centric initiatives during the year further helped position Toyota as a dynamic, technology driven and youth‑oriented brand,” said Sabari Manohar, Executive Vice President, Sales-Service-Used Car Business, Toyota Kirloskar Motor.
Industry trends indicate that demand for utility vehicles continued to drive growth, with automakers benefiting from consumer preference for larger, feature-rich vehicles. Toyota’s portfolio, which spans the SUV and MPV segments, helped sustain its domestic momentum.
