The company said the move is part of its efforts to strengthen charging infrastructure in India.Tesla on Monday inaugurated its first destination charging station in North India at Nexus Select CityWalk in New Delhi, expanding its charging infrastructure in the country with a new in-mall facility featuring six AC destination chargers.
Located in the mall’s P1 parking area, the charging station is equipped with six 11 kW AC destination chargers, allowing Tesla owners to charge their vehicles while shopping or dining. The company said the move is part of its efforts to strengthen charging infrastructure in India.
With the commissioning of the Delhi facility, Tesla now operates six charging locations across India, comprising 20 Superchargers and 20 destination chargers. Its charging network spans Delhi, Gurugram, Mumbai and Navi Mumbai, while Tesla Experience Centres are operational in Delhi, Gurugram, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad.
Alongside the charging station, Tesla has opened a temporary pop-up store at Nexus Select CityWalk from July 6 to July 10, showcasing the recently launched Model Y L and 2026 Model Y Premium Rear-Wheel Drive. Visitors can explore the vehicles through guided walkarounds and test drives.
The Model Y L, a six-seater all-wheel-drive electric SUV, is priced from ₹61.99 lakh, while the 2026 Model Y Premium Rear-Wheel Drive starts at ₹50.89 lakh.
