Škoda Auto has named its upcoming all-electric seven-seater flagship model Peaq, underscoring its position at the top of the Czech carmaker’s global portfolio as it accelerates its shift towards electric mobility.

The Peaq, which will make its world premiere in summer 2026, is based on the Vision 7S concept unveiled in spring 2022, the company said in an official press release.

The concept marked the debut of Škoda’s Modern Solid design language and signalled the brand’s long-term direction focused on sustainability, functional design and advanced technology.

“With the Vision 7S, we entered new territory for Škoda, with a clear idea of how to elevate the brand,” said Martin Jahn, Board Member for Sales and Marketing at Škoda Auto.

“Now we are bringing this innovative vehicle concept to life. Our new flagship model takes our brand values of spaciousness and practicality to a whole new level,” added Jahn.

Designed as a fully electric seven-seater, the Peaq targets modern families and customers seeking versatility for both everyday use and longer journeys. The model places a strong emphasis on space, comfort and practicality, supported by Škoda’s signature Simply Clever solutions aimed at improving usability.

The company said that the Peaq represents a key milestone in the expansion of its electric vehicle portfolio, translating the ideas of the Vision 7S into a series-production model.

It added that the Peaq is expected to play a central role in shaping the brand’s electric identity in global markets over the coming years.
