Kia India on Sunday said that it recorded its highest-ever sales for the month of February with 27,610 units sold in February 2026, registering a 10.3 per cent year-on-year growth compared with 25,026 units in the same month last year.

The automaker said the performance marked its second consecutive month of double-digit growth, supported by sustained demand across its SUV and MPV portfolio.

The company said strong customer response to the Seltos continued to support volumes, driven by its updated design, technology and safety features. The Sonet, meanwhile, maintained strong traction in the compact SUV segment with its feature-rich offering.

In the MPV category, the Carens Clavis contributed to the company’s growth by appealing to family buyers looking for spacious and comfort-oriented mobility solutions. The Clavis EV is also gaining traction among customers exploring electric mobility options, the company said.

At the premium end of the portfolio, the Carnival continued to strengthen Kia’s presence in the luxury MPV segment.

The company attributed the growth to its product strategy focused on design, advanced safety technologies such as Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), connected vehicle features and premium ownership experience.

“Our record February performance is a testimony to the growing trust of Indian consumers in the Kia brand,” said Atul Sood, Senior Vice-President, Sales and Marketing, Kia India.

Kia India also highlighted improvements in operational efficiency and supply chain agility, which it said helped meet rising demand and improve delivery timelines.

The automaker currently operates 849 sales and service touchpoints across 382 cities in India. Its network is supported by 122 certified pre-owned outlets, aimed at improving transparency and facilitating vehicle resale and ownership transfers.

Following a strong start to 2026, the company said it will focus on sustaining growth momentum while expanding its presence in electric mobility and introducing future-ready products that combine innovation, safety and design.
