Renault India on Friday refreshed its Kwid hatchback with updated styling, a simplified two-variant lineup and revised pricing, with the top-end Climber variant available at an effective price of ₹4.99 lakh through an online purchase offer.

The updated Kwid is now offered in two variants—Evolution and Climber—with ex-showroom prices ranging from ₹4.52 lakh to ₹5.60 lakh. Renault is offering a ₹15,000 cash benefit on online purchases of the Climber variant, reducing its effective transactional price to ₹4.99 lakh.

The refreshed model adopts Renault’s new brand identity while retaining the 1.0-litre petrol engine with both five-speed manual and AMT transmission options. The hatchback continues to offer features such as an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a digital instrument cluster, a rear-view camera, and 17 standard safety features.

“For millions of Indians, owning their first car remains an important milestone. With the New Kwid, we are building on this legacy by making the offering simpler, clearer and more relevant,” said Francisco Hidalgo, Vice President – Sales and Marketing, Renault India.

The updated Kwid is available across Renault dealerships and through the company’s online sales platform. Since its launch in 2015, more than 4.5 lakh customers have purchased the hatchback in India, according to the company.
