Mercedes-Benz India on Friday said that it has reduced ex-showroom prices of its bestselling E-Class long-wheelbase (LWB) sedan by up to ₹6 lakh, passing on the benefit of the Union government’s recent GST rationalisation to customers.

“Following the price cut, the new Verde Silver E-Class LWB is priced at ₹78.5 lakh for the E200, ₹80.5 lakh for the E220d and ₹91.7 lakh for the E450 4MATIC AMG Line (ex-showroom)”, stated the company.

E-Class range

The E-Class range includes a 204hp, 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine in the entry-level E200, while the E220d is powered by a 197hp, 2.0-litre diesel engine — the sole diesel in the lineup. The top-spec E450 AMG Line comes with a 381hp, 3.0-litre six-cylinder turbo-petrol unit and Mercedes’ 4MATIC all-wheel drive system. All three engines are paired with a 48V mild-hybrid system adding 23hp and a 9-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. Launched in October 2024, the new-generation E-Class has been a strong seller for Mercedes in India. To commemorate its first anniversary, the company has introduced a new Verde Silver shade, in addition to Graphite Grey, High-Tech Silver, Nautic Blue and Obsidian Black.

Inside, the LWB E-Class features the third-generation MBUX Superscreen with AI-powered personalisation and five display styles, underscoring its focus on technology and luxury.
