Mahindra & Mahindra on Friday announced the opening of pre-bookings for the XUV 7XO, the refreshed and repositioned version of its flagship SUV, the XUV700. Bookings will commence at 12 pm on December 15, 2025, with a reservation amount of ₹21,000.

Customers can place bookings across Mahindra dealerships as well as through the company’s online channels. At the time of booking, buyers will be able to select their preferred dealership, fuel option and transmission. Mahindra has confirmed that the updated SUV will make its official debut on January 5. The XUV700, launched in 2021, has crossed cumulative sales of over 3 lakh units, making it one of the company’s most successful premium offerings.

The XUV 7XO will continue with the existing powertrain options. These include the 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 197 hp and 380 Nm, and the 2.2-litre diesel engine offered in two states of tune—153 hp with 360 Nm and a higher-output version delivering 182 hp and up to 450 Nm of torque. Both petrol and diesel variants will be available with manual and automatic gearboxes, while Mahindra is expected to retain the all-wheel-drive option.

While full design details are yet to be revealed, the XUV 7XO is expected to feature noticeable exterior updates, including a more upright front profile, full-width LED daytime running lamps, revised headlamps and grille, and refreshed alloy wheel designs.
