Mahindra has announced that it will increase the production of its recently unveiled BE 6 Batman Edition to 999 units. The model was initially planned as a limited run of 300 units but will now see higher availability following demand from customers and collectors.

The company said the edition was created as a tribute to the Batman legacy and has generated strong interest among fans, including younger audiences. Deliveries will begin on September 20, 2025, coinciding with International Batman Day.

Bookings and allocation process

Pre-bookings for the BE 6 Batman Edition opened on August 21, 2025, at 5 PM under an “Add your preference” system, where customers can select the model online, validate their phone number through an OTP, and complete a KYC process for faster checkout. Bookings will formally open on August 23, 2025, at 11 AM. Customers can confirm reservations by paying a booking amount of ₹21,000. After confirmation, each customer will be able to choose a badge number from 001 to 999. Mahindra clarified that badge numbers are not exclusive, meaning more than one customer can select the same number.

Future plans

Mahindra said the Batman Edition marks a step in its approach to personalisation, aiming to allow each customer to connect with the vehicle. The company added that it may introduce further limited-edition models in 2026.v
