BYD India now operates through 18 dealer partners nationwide.BYD India on Wednesday announced the expansion of its dealership network to 48 showrooms across 40 cities with the opening of a new outlet in Moti Nagar, Delhi.
The facility, inaugurated in partnership with PPS Motors Pvt. Ltd., is the company’s sixth showroom in the Delhi-NCR region and its largest in India to date.
Spread over 9,000 sq. ft., the showroom can display up to seven vehicles. It is part of the company’s efforts to strengthen its presence in key urban electric vehicle markets such as Delhi-NCR.
“Together with our valued partner PPS Motors, we look forward to bringing BYD’s advanced electric vehicles closer to customers in the region and contributing to India’s transition towards cleaner transportation,” said Rajeev Chauhan, Head of Electric Passenger Vehicles Business, BYD India.
With this addition, BYD India now operates through 18 dealer partners nationwide, reflecting the continued expansion of its retail footprint amid the rising adoption of electric vehicles in the country.
