Audi India on Monday announced price reductions across its product portfolio following the rollout of GST 2.0, making its luxury cars and SUVs more affordable by ₹2.6 lakh to over ₹7.8 lakh.
Under the revised structure, the Audi Q3 now costs ₹43.07 lakh (ex-showroom) compared with ₹46.14 lakh earlier, while the A4 is priced at ₹46.25 lakh, down from ₹48.89 lakh. The larger Q7 SUV sees one of the biggest cuts, dropping to ₹86.14 lakh from ₹92.29 lakh.
Other models such as the Q5 and A6 are now available at ₹63.75 lakh (earlier ₹68.30 lakh) and ₹63.74 lakh (earlier ₹67.38 lakh), respectively. The flagship Q8 has seen a sharp reduction of nearly ₹7.8 lakh, now priced at ₹1.09 crore compared with ₹1.17 crore previously.
Balbir Singh Dhillon, Head of Audi India, said, “We view the GST simplification as a step in the right direction – one that supports industry growth and helps us expand the market. It also enhances transparency and aligns with India’s economic vision. Such reforms help stabilise the business environment and help devise strategies that benefit all stakeholders in the best possible manner.”
The announcement comes close on the heels of Mercedes-Benz and BMW also cutting prices across select models following the GST rationalisation.
