Pawan Singh gets threat from Bishnoi gang to not share stage with Salman

Bhojpuri star Pawan Singh gets threat calls from Lawrence Bishnoi gang, warning him to not share stage with Salman Khan, ahead of 'Bigg Boss 19' finale

Bhojpuri cinema star Pawan Singh has reportedly received a threat call from members of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, warning him not to appear on stage alongside Salman Khan. For those not in the know, the Bishnoi Gang has been giving death threats to Salman Khan for a while now and the actor’s security has also been upscaled. According to reports, Singh received the call from an unknown number on Saturday, and the caller claimed to be associated with the Bishnoi gang, as reported by IANS. The person on the other end reportedly instructed Singh not to share the stage with Khan and also demanded a large sum of money, warning that he would face serious consequences if the demand was ignored. Although Singh has not issued an official statement, his team has informed security agencies about the incident. The threat comes just hours before Singh is expected to be part of the ‘Bigg Boss 19’ finale on Sunday night. Despite the warning, the actor is still likely to attend the event. Security around him has reportedly been increased as a precaution. Singh has already been under heightened security cover since October, when he was granted Y-category protection by the Ministry of Home Affairs following an Intelligence Bureau report flagging potential risks to him. The Bishnoi gang’s threats toward Salman Khan date back years and stem from the 1998 blackbuck poaching case, during which Khan was accused of hunting the protected animal in Rajasthan. For the Bishnoi community, blackbucks are sacred, and harming them is considered a serious violation of faith. Lawrence Bishnoi has repeatedly stated that Khan must pay for what he believes is an insult to their religion.Over the years, Salman Khan has faced multiple threats from the gang. In April 2024, a firing incident took place outside Khan’s Galaxy Apartments residence, where four rounds were shot from a 7.6-bore firearm around 5 a.m. Following this, his apartment balcony was made bulletproof, and high-resolution surveillance systems were installed in early 2025. Currently, Khan is under Y+ category security provided by the Maharashtra government, which includes a team of 11 security personnel, along with commandos and personal security officers. Both actors continue with their scheduled engagements under tight security.
