When Samantha hinted at dating Raj, called him ‘life jacket’

When Samantha Ruth Prabhu hinted at dating Raj Nidimoru, spoke about his support during her autoimmune condition: 'God gives you one life jacket to hang on to'

Samantha Ruth Prabhu tied the knot with Raj Nidimoru in an intimate ceremony on Monday, December 1. The couple tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Coimbatore. They got married in a sacred Bhuta Shuddhi Vivaha ceremony at the abode of Linga Bhairavi Devi within Isha Yoga Center. Samantha made a beautiful bride in a red banarasi saree with flower motifs. Raj on the other hand opted for a beige kurta with a gold jacket. While the bride opted for an Arpita Mehta saree, the groom wore an outfit from Tarun Tahiliani. While rumours of their relationship, started a while ago, an old clip of Samantha talking about Raj has now gone viral. She can be seen hinting at how Raj was a constant support to her but she also mentioned the entire team of ‘Citadel’ as a subtle hint. The actress was diagnosed with myositis, which is a rare autoimmune condition that causes inflammation and weakness in the muscles. She fought that and got back on the sets of ‘Citadel’ where she also had to perform action. Talking about that phase, Samantha had said during a chat with Galatta India, “Sometimes, when God puts you in extra ordinary, difficult circumstances, he gives you this one kind of life jacket to hang on to. He doesn’t completely abandon you. I think the people I ended up working with in Citadel, whether it’s Raj and DK or Sita Menen. They were my life jackets. Otherwise this condition is such that it can completely destroy you. You need a reason to fight and you have to fight every single day. Them not giving up on me, made me get off my bed and fight.” Samantha was earlier married to Naga Chaitanya and the duo announced divorce in 2021. Last year on December 4, Chaitanya got married for the second time. He tied the knot with Sobhita Dhulipala. Samantha also has tied the knot for the second time in December, just a year after Chay’s second wedding.Meanwhile, Raj was earlier married to Shhyamali De.
