‘We stand with Trump’: ITServe Alliance says they don’t endorse ‘kick Trump’ speech amid major controversy

'We stand with Trump': ITServe Alliance says they don't endorse 'kick Trump' speech amid major controversy

ITServe Alliance, a platform of IT companies in the US, distanced itself from the controversy over a video of their conference where a speaker urged to kick President Donald Trump. The video went viral, drawing flak for ITServe Alliance and according to reports, GOP leader Vivek Ramaswamy dropped out of a conference of the organization after the controversy broke out. The speaker was identified as Indian-origin attorney Sheela Murthy, who was telling the IT crowd that Trump is not god and he does not make rules. Two of the three wives of Trump were immigrants, the speaker joked as she spoke about the administration’s crackdown on immigrants. ITServe Alliance issued a statement asserting that they stand with Trump and his administration in their effort to stop illegal immigration. What speakers say at conferences do not represent the organization and the leadership of the organization, the statement read. “ITServe Alliance is a non-partisan group that works with all political parties on solutions that support American-owned and American-based businesses. While some speakers may express different views, they do not represent our organization as a whole and do not represent our leadership’s views,” it said. “Our organization and leadership are committed to working with President Trump and his administration on common-sense immigration reforms. Throughout our organization’s history, we have had diverse speakers from both sides of the aisle. Speakers come to share their views with our members.”

ITServe Alliance issued a statement distancing themselves from the controversy of 'kick Trump' speech at their conference.

“ITServe Alliance wants to be clear that we stand with President Trump and his administration is stopping illegal immigration and reforming the system with merit-based solutions,” the statement added.

‘Kick Trump in the a**’

“You know the joke that they make that immigrants do all the hard work that no other person wants to do. That’s what they talk about his poor wives who got married to him as no other American would want to be with him,” Sheela Murthy said in the viral video as she urged people to kick Trump’s a**. “The fact is that the president is not god, the president is not making the laws in the country though he thinks he makes the laws.””When you go back home, stop worrying at night, when you panic and worry that means you have not become a member of ITServe; that means you don’t believe in your own power and the power of unity as an organization,” Murthy said. The speech was condemned by former adviser to Joe Biden, Indian-American leader Ajay Bhutoria who said: “As a proud Democrat, I fiercely disagree with Trump’s policies & actions—it’s our duty to call them out. But Sheela Murthy’s recent speech at ITServe Alliance crossed a line with hateful rhetoric that could incite violence against him. Disagree civilly; violence is NEVER the answer.”
