Kash Patel's girlfriend Alexis Wilkins speaks up on H-1B row: 'We do not want this'

Kash Patel’s girlfriend Alexis Wilkins shut down trolls who claim she is an Israeli spy.

FBI director Kash Patel’s girlfriend Alexis Wilkins, who often remains at the center of several controversies because of her relationship with Patel, has now waded into the H-1B row and made herself clear about her stand on the visa program that Indians rely on to migrate to the US. Reacting to a new bill that proposes to hike the H-1B visa cap, Alexis Wilkins wrote: “No we do not want this goodbye.”The proposal to which Indian-origin Kash Patel’s girlfriend reacted has been brought by an Indian-origin Congressman. Democrat Rep Subramanian Raja Krishnamoorthy reintroduced his HIRE (High-Skilled Immigration Reform for Employment) proposing to increase the H-1B cap per year from 65,000 to 130,000. The proposal came at a time the Donald Trump administration is divided over H-1B as

  • The administration announced a $100,000 visa for H-1B hiring. This means companies are discouraged to hire H-1Bs becaue they would have to pay the exorbitant fee if they want to hire.
  • Donald Trump said America needs certain talents from outside.
  • The White House said the president wants foreign workers at the beginning but would not allow them to snatch American jobs. “He wants to see if foreign companies are investing trillions of dollars in the United States of America, and they’re bringing foreign workers with them to create very niche things like batteries. He wants to see that at the beginning, to get those manufacturing facilities and those factories up and running, but ultimately, the President always wants to see American workers in those jobs,” White House spokesperson Karoline Leavitt said.

The mixed signals confused MAGA and as they call for shutting down the visal program, Indian-origin Dem leader Krishnamoorthi introduced his proposal to in fact double the number. “To build the jobs and industries of tomorrow, America must stay at the forefront of innovation by strengthening our own workforce while continuing to welcome top talent from around the globe… The HIRE Act advances both goals by boosting STEM education in our elementary and secondary schools and by expanding the annual supply of H-1B visas from 65,000 to 130,000. By growing our domestic talent pipeline and ensuring employers can recruit the skilled workers they need, we can create good-paying jobs and secure America’s leadership in the technologies of the future,” Krishnamoorthi said facing severe backlash.
