Jingle bells have started to ring as the festive season is claimed to be around the corner. However, the Christmas season called for a cosy blanket and warm pizzas, and a story to look forward to in the theatres. From supernatural aliens who are going through challenging times to finding an anaconda, December’s pipelines sound adorable. Let’s take a look at the Hollywood releases in December.
‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’
The entire fandom is roaring with excitement for the release of ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’ after three long years. Continuing the plot, the film is suggested to be a feast for the eyes with its intense adventure, according to the director James Cameron’s comments during a Variety interview. With emotional stakes and challenging territory for the characters, the conflict in Pandora is set to be escalated. Starring Kate Winslet, Stephen Lang, and Zoe Saldaña, ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’ will be released on December 15, 2025, only in theatres.
‘Anaconda’
How about a story of a group, growing through mid-life crisis, decides to reboot old film Anaconda? However, they bring in the real anaconda (yes, the venomous snake) to shoot that eventually dies. Now, the group decides to go to a jungle and finds a never-before-seen creature. Directed by Tom Gormican, the film features Paul Rudd, Jack Black, Steve Zahn, and more. The horror-comedy will be released on December 25, 2025, only in theatres.
‘Christmas Karma’
Priyanka Chopra sang the desi version of ‘Last Christmas’ for this film – so, this has to be iconic. Based on ‘A Christmas Carol’ by Charles Dickens, the film revolves around the ghosts of the past, present, and future, who want to make Scrooge better. Bringing the British musical, the film stars Kunal Nayyar, Eva Longoria, Chaithra Chandran, Danny Dyer, Billy Porter, and more. Directed by Gurinder Chadha, the film will be released on December 12, 2025, only in theatres.
‘Five Nights at Freddy’s 2’
‘Five Nights at Freddy’s 2’ follows Mike and the police officer Vanessa, who have decided to keep the secret from his 17-year-old sister, Abby. As she tries to connect with her animatronic friends, the horror sets its timer as the mascot comes alive. Directed by Emma Tammi, the film stars Elizabeth Lail and Josh Henderson. The horror-comedy will be released on December 5, 2021. Go to Source
