December 2025 Bollywood releases: 'Dhurandhar' to 'Kis Kis Ko Pyaar Karoon 2', Hindi films to look forward to in the coming month

December calls for hot chocolate and marshmallows, with a cosy rug and lots of films revolving around the theme of Christmas love. However, Bollywood is ready to take the roller coaster ride through guns, stings, faiths, and patriotism. With the jaw-dropping star cast and songs that have taken over social media, let’s take a look at the incredible releases of December 2025 in the theatres. So, what genre will you be watching this festive season?

‘Dhurandhar’

Best believe the ruthless star cast will claim the hearts of fans as well as the seats in the theatres after the release of one of the most anticipated films – ‘Dhurandhar.’ From the reveal to the trailer drop, Aditya Dhar’s film managed to create incredible hype and excitement amongst the fanatics. Starring Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, and many more, the film revolves around the gory story of forces infiltrating the powerful enemy territory. Based on incredible true events, as per the trailer, ‘Dhurandhar’ will be releasing on December 5, 2025, only in theatres.

‘Kis Kis Ko Pyaar Karoon 2’

Kapil Sharma is bringing back his charm to the screens with the rightful sequel, ‘Kis Kis Ko Pyaar Karoon 2.’ Directed by Anukalp Goswami, the story revolves around a man who marries three women of different religious faiths while he tries to marry his love, planning a fourth wedding. However, the police officer has been searching for a duplicitous man with his sketch on board. Starring Sharma, Manjot Singh, Ayesha Khan, Parul Gulati, and Tridha Choudhury, the film will be released on December 12, 2025, only in theatres.

‘Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri’

Well, Ananya Panday and Kartik Aaryan gave a desi version of jellyfish sting – and the conversations certainly stuck the social media. Bringing back the romantic comedy to Bollywood, ‘Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri’ takes the viewers on the road of nostalgia and heartfelt emotions. Directed by Sameer Vidhwans, the film strives to bring innate warmth right around the festive season. The film will be released on December 25, 2025, only in theatres.

‘Ikkis’

After surfing through the fictional world, Agasthya Nanda will be gearing up for Sriram Raghavan’s next title, ‘Ikkis.’ Set against the backdrop of the 1971 Indo-Pak war, the film will chronicle the story of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetrapal. The soldier in the uniform was awarded the Param Veer Chakra posthumously at the age of 21. Along with Nanda, the star cast joining the force is Jaideep Ahlawat and the late legendary actor, Dharmendra. Channeling patriotism, the film will be released only in theatres on December 25, 2025.
