India’s civil aviation regulator issued a fresh update amid global disruptions linked to a flight-control module issue in Airbus A320-family aircraft. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) said a total of 338 flights in India have been affected so far, with 189 aircraft already updated with the required software fix and cleared to resume commercial operations. The DGCA’s urgent safety order requires airlines to inspect and replace a critical flight-control computer on a wide range of A320-family aircraft. The directive grounds any aircraft equipped with the affected component until the mandatory modification is complete. The move follows a technical alert from Airbus and an Emergency Airworthiness Directive issued by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), which flagged a potential malfunction in the aircraft’s Elevator Aileron Computer (ELAC). n18oc_indiaNews18 Mobile App – https://onelink.to/desc-youtube
