Laalo -Krishna Sada Sahaayate outperforms all films on Wednesday

Gujarati film ‘Laalo -Krishna Sada Sahaayate’ outperforms ‘Eko’, ‘120 Bahadur ', ‘Mastiii 4’ and ‘De De Pyaar De 2’ on Wednesday

In an incredible display of success Ankit Sakhiya’s ‘Laalo-Krishna Sada Sahaayate’ is lighting up the box office, eclipsing even big name Bollywood films like ‘De De Pyaar De 2’ and ‘Mastiii 4’. The Gujarati sensation bagged Rs 1.36 crore on Wednesday, catapulting its cumulative earnings to an impressive Rs 77.95 crore.

Gujarati cinema’s biggest phenomenon, Laalo-Krishna Sada Sahaayate, continues to defy every industry expectation. On Wednesday, Laalo once again proved its dominance at the box office, outperforming films from much bigger industries and budgets, including Ajay Devgn- Rakul Preet Singh- R Madhavan’s De De Pyaar De 2, Vivek Oberoi- RItiesh Deshmukh and Aftab Shivdasani’s Mastiii 4, Farhan Akhtar’s 120 Bahadur, and Sandeep PRadeep’s Eko.While Wednesday was a competitive day with multiple films in the running, Laalo collected a strong Rs 1.36 crore, matching the Wednesday earnings of the Malayalam thriller Eko’s day 6 , and comfortably surpassing its other competitors. Mastiii 4’s Day 6 , the adult comedy franchise with a loyal urban fanbase, registered Rs 1.15 crore, whereas Farhan Akhtar’s war drama 120 Bahadur added Rs 1 crore on Day 6 and De De pyaar De 2 collecting Rs 1.25 crore on day 13. .

Asha Parekh, Waheeda Rehman And Rekha Grace ‘120 Bahadur’ Star-Studded Screening

With these fresh numbers, Laalo’s total now stands at a staggering Rs 77.95 crore, miles ahead of the others in the race. De De Pyaar De 2 , despite being a franchise backed by significant brand recall and a wider release footprint, has collected Rs 66.25 crore so far—still nearly Rs 12 crore behind the Gujarati blockbuster. Meanwhile, 120 Bahadur, despite strong performances and national visibility, sits at Rs 14 crore, mastii 4 at Rs 12.85 crore and Eko at Rs 10.40 crore. .Laalo’s ability to hold its ground against films with bigger stars, larger budgets, and wider distribution demonstrates its extraordinary pull among audiences. What makes the film’s performance even more remarkable is that it is running with the momentum of an all-time blockbuster deep into its seventh week. Most Gujarati films barely last beyond two or three weeks in theatres, but Laalo has turned into a socio-cultural wave, drawing crowds repeatedly and transcending regional boundaries. With Rs 77.95 crore already in its pocket and a powerful upward trend still intact, Laalo has not only outperformed these films, it has redefined what regional cinema can achieve in India. At this point, it is competing not just with Gujarati films, but with Indian cinema at large. Go to Source
