Vivek Ramaswamy's net worth nearly doubles in 9 months amid H-1B, anti-Hindu hate: 'He bounces back quickly'

Indian-origin billionaire Vivek Ramaswamy’s net worth jumped astronomically in the past nine months since he announced his bid in the Ohio Governor election 2026 — despite the relentless online slandering and Hindu hate that he faces. Even MAGA turned against him after he called for introspection in teh Republican Party following socialist Zohran Mamdani’s win in the New York mayoral election. As MAGA wanted a replacement for Ramaswamy, President Donald Trump had to pitch in and endorse him again as the GOP candidate for the Ohio Governor election. Latest Forbes figures reveal that none of this impacts the billionaire’s net worth while he’s going to be a father for the third time soon. Revealing his current net worth, Forbes called Ramaswamy a man who bounces back quickly — as Ramaswamy bounced back from his lost bid for 2024 presidential election and then his DOGE stint. He is also known as an H-1B supporter as he criticized American culture, education system earlier and defended why US companies hire STEM workers from foreign countries.

From $1 billion to $1.8 billion in 9 months

“In March, Forbes estimated his net worth at just about $1 billion, barely making our World Billionaires List. Today, he’s worth about $1.8 billion, an 80% increase in just nine months all while running for office,” the report said. The source of the major gain, as identified by the report, is his old pharma company, Roivant Sciences, the company he founded in 2014. A subsidiary of Roivant this year announced positive results in a Phase 3 trial for an autoimmune disease drug and that’s what is still making Ramaswamy richer by the day. Ramaswamy’s stake in the company, roughly 49 million shares, is now worth $1 billion on its own. A spokesperson confirmed to Forbes that the numbers are “broadly correct”. He pointed out another source of Ramaswamy’s wealth: Chapter, a startup that he co-founded in 2020. Ramaswamy’s wealth grows even after he poured $26 million of his own money into his presidential bid which he withdrew later. In his campaign for governor bid, Ramaswamy has only loaned his campaign about $200,000, a small fraction of his fortune. Through the end of July, his campaign raised $9.7 million.
