‘90 Day Fiancé’ star Chuck Potthast passes away after battling with brain cancer

The ‘90 Day Fiancé’ community is grief-stricken, as Chuck Potthast, the father of longtime cast member Elizabeth “Libby” Castravet, has passed away. Libby confirmed the news of his demise through a social media post.

Taking to her social media handle, Lilly shared, “Two weeks ago, tragedy struck our family, and it has left us completely shattered. My sweet, loving, and caring dad went to heaven. We’re trying to figure out how to navigate our lives and move forward without him. Please respect our privacy during this extremely difficult time.” Reportedly, he was surrounded by his loved ones at the time of his demise.

Chuck Potthast’s last social media post

Chuck, who loved posting his family moments on social media, shared his last online update on October 3rd. With the caption, “Boating with the family !!” the post featured photos of Libby, Andrei, and their children, Eleanor and Winston. Below the same post, fans have sent condolences. An internet user wrote, “Rest in peace chuck, u were such a supportive and loving father on 90 day fiance,” while another fan penned, “Rest in peace, Chuck. You were the best HUMAN being to ever hit the 90 day Franchise. My heart is breaking right now. Praying for his family. May God wrap his arms around them and comfort them”“RIP Chuck. You were such a supportive dad. Condolences to your family,” read a comment, while another message read, “Oh, Chuck 💔we adored you.
