'Laalo' box office collections day 40: Ankit Sakhiya's film maintains its winning streak; crosses Rs 58.25 crore mark

‘Laalo – Krishna Sada Sahaayate’ continues its remarkable theatrical journey as it enters the 40-day mark with another strong hold at the box office. Directed by Ankit Sakhiya, the devotional family drama has grown into one of the biggest Gujarati blockbusters of the year. According to Sacnilk’s early estimates, the film earned Rs 3 crore on its 40th day, taking its total India net collection to an impressive Rs 58.25 crore.The film had already accumulated Rs 55.25 crore by Day 39. Despite being in its sixth week, it shows no signs of losing momentum.

Audience footfall stays strong

Morning shows saw a modest response at 12.55%. Footfall increased by the afternoon with 31.20% occupancy. Evening shows climbed further to 34.06%, and night shows witnessed a strong 67.59% occupancy on day 40.

A Gujarati film that continues to rule

The movie features Karan Joshi, Reeva Rachh, Shruhad Goswami, Anshu Joshi, and Kinnal Nayak in the lead roles. The film’s emotional storyline, rooted cultural values, and devotional energy have connected with the audiences strongly across Gujarat.With good momentum in occupancy rates and good reviews, ‘Laalo – Krishna Sada Sahaayate’ could soon enter the Rs 60-crore club. ‘Laalo’ is surely a surprise hit from the Gujarati film industry this year and is a proof that the industry knows how to impress the audiences with it’s rooted story telling.
