Breaking: NIA Arrests Amir Rashid As Major Suicide-Car-Bomb Plot Unravels In Delhi Blast

A major breakthrough has emerged in the Delhi car-blast investigation, with the NIA arresting Amir Rashid, a resident of Pampore, Kashmir. Rashid is the person in whose name the i20 car used in the blast was registered. According to the investigation, Dr. Omar identified as the suicide bomber and his associate Rashid played key roles in preparing the vehicle as a moving explosive device. Earlier speculation of an accidental blast has been dismissed, as agencies confirm it was a deliberate suicide attack near the Red Fort on 10 November. Rashid will be produced in Patiala House Court amid heightened security. Meanwhile, the probe has widened sharply. Agencies have recovered three passports belonging to Dr. Shaheen, each carrying different addresses Kanpur, Lucknow, and Faridabad and listing different guardians, including father, husband and brother. Dr. Shaheen had also traveled to Thailand and several other countries after leaving her Kanpur job in 2003. Sources reveal that over the past seven years, Shaheen operated seven bank accounts with transactions exceeding ₹1.55 crore, allegedly routed through hawala channels. Jaish operatives reportedly facilitated funds to Dr. Omar, Dr. Muzammil, and Dr. Shaheen. Agencies also discovered that terrorists purchased ₹3 lakh worth of fertilizer and ammonium nitrate from Mewat for the attack. UP ATS has detained 13 suspects in Lucknow, while nationwide raids continue to dismantle the terror network.
