But the big boost arrived on Saturday as the business jumped by 60%, reaching Rs 1.6 crore.Sunday continued the upward trend, with early estimates again placing the day’s collection at Rs 1.60 crore. This helped the total to reach Rs 15.50 crore.
Strong occupancy in Telugu states
The Telugu audience remains the biggest contributor to the film’s success. On its tenth day, The Girlfriend recorded an impressive 34.13% overall occupancy across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.The afternoon and evening shows delivered the strongest turnout at 43.49% and 43.78%.
